Friday was perfectly carefree... actually just perfect.
KB and I decided to wander dallas in search of
perfect food and gorgeous sunshine-y days.
We ended up in bishop arts devouring the best
root beer floats in texas right after I decided
that I could move into enos and be absolutely
content for the rest of my life. I need to
know their decorator...

a simple summer night.

It was one of those great summer nights... the kind
that aren't super planned where everyone just enjoys
summer. It was simple and hipster and just perfect.
We headed to the Hotel Belmont in Oak Clif on Thursday for
their kickoff of summer pool movie parties. And if the
fun drinks and weather weren't enough?- Check out that
incredible view of downtown dallas. It was pretty cool.

I have decided that figuring out what you want to do "when you grow up" is not easy. In fact, it's proving to be extremely difficult right now. And the most frustrating part... where to begin? I only wish that I knew what making a start looked like... one day I want to look back on this season of life and laugh... one day. Cheers to dreaming.

welcome to the big D

I have to tell you that this week has been quite an interesting one back in the lone star state... highlight of my week would have to be the "donny dallas" event last night at Neimans. I have never seen so many blazers, tiny dogs in shoulder bags or light blue button downs in my life. Thank goodness they were serving champagne by the bottle (kidding). And we got to sort of see Nicole Richie from a distance and feel like Dallas socialites minus the money and botox and tiny dogs in designer sweaters... And after seeing Nicole last night I want to say that yes, she is the smallest person I have ever seen. How has she had two children??

so i leave you with TID: this is dallas.  and welcome to my new life.
